I’m Gil Howard-Browne. At 77, I’m doing things in ministry I only dreamed about a few years ago — because I stopped listening to the fear and started using AI as a practical help in the call. ChatGPT and Grok have become some of the most useful tools in my work. If it can work for me, it can work for you.

What this actually looks like in my ministry

One night’s broadcast doesn’t have to stay one video. Here’s a workflow I use all the time:

  1. Pull the transcript from a YouTube teaching (ChatGPT or Grok)
  2. Get a detailed summary that stays true to what was preached
  3. Either polish the full-length night broadcast — or pull out three solid, standalone 10-minute messages from the same transcript
  4. Write a blog post in my words, locked to the transcript so the teaching doesn’t drift
  5. Create a thumbnail for that blog post
  6. Write intro/outro song lyrics tightly aligned to the message, then produce the song (I use Songer for the music)
  7. Turn the still thumbnail into a ~20-second video in Grok
  8. Use that short video + song as the intro/outro for the new three-part Ten Minute Messages series

That’s one pipeline. It’s only a fraction of what AI helps me do.
